Non-Warranty Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your SmartLeash we offer 30 day 100% money-back guarantee in addition to the 1 year warranty. Returns of leashes for a refund are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Your credit card or Paypal account will be refunded upon receipt of the returned leash.

One Year Warranty: 

SmartLeash has a 1 year manufacturer's warranty against defects in material or workmanship. If you experience any sort of issue with your SmartLeash and you bought it from a retail store, you can return it to the store for a replacement leash. If you bought it from our website or the store you bought it from is not convenient to you, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. Please give us as much information as possible, including the size of the leash (small, medium or large), color, and a description of the problem, your name, address and where you purchased your leash. Within the 1 year warranty period we will promptly replace your SmartLeash with a new leash, postage prepaid. Issues with your leash after 1 year are handled on a case by case basis but our goal is your 100% satisfaction. We ask that you send us back your non-working leash so our engineering team can disassemble it and determine the cause of the problem. Please do not disassemble the leash yourself! It contains a powerful coiled spring that can result in injury if not handled properly. The warranty does not cover leashes that have been chewed (usually by a dog!) or otherwise abused.

Accepted Methods of Payment

Paypal 
Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, American Express) through the Paypal system. You do not need a Paypal account to use this method. 

Credit Card Charges

Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason your credit card will be refunded. 

Shipping Policy

Turnaround 

 All orders are shipped within 24 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturday until 11AM Eastern time.

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

FedEx (upon request, please email us) 

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates

The shipping charge is $4.95 per order to the USA. If for some bizarre reason you are charged more please cancel the order and contact us. We will put the shipping system elves on the case. 

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
